When you might need us
When handing over your vehicle for essential works, it is vital that you trust in the team undertaking them. Here at Axminster Autos, we’ve worked hard for the past 20 years to build up a good reputation in the local area for our unrivalled customer service. We recognise the important of cars in our everyday life and how disruptive it can be to be without yours for a period of time. During your full service, our mechanics will work swiftly but professionally to prioritise the major faults and allow you to decide on further repairs. We’re here to help when your annual service is due, if you’ve noticed that the car isn’t performing as well as it once did or if you’re looking to improve fuel consumption. Our mechanics can help with all of this and more while giving you peace of mind that your beloved car is in safe hands at all times.
How we work
During a full service, one of our mechanics will perform a number of checks and inspections across your vehicle. This can involve upwards of 50 different component checks to ensure the car is compliant with legal regulations and fully roadworthy. These will include: –
- Checking the engine oil and related filters
- Checking the performance of lights, tyres, exhaust systems, brakes and steering
- Checking the hydraulic fluid and coolant levels
- Checking the suspension system – Checking the entire cooling system
- Checking the steering alignment
- Checking the condition of the battery
To allow us to carry out your service effectively, we ask that you bring along all alloy wheel keys and/or locking nuts, your service book and clear out your boot. Our mechanics will use the highest quality parts for any repairs confirmed by yourself and we’ll work hard to get your motor returned as swiftly as possible.
